When we are closed
Out-of-hours care is provided by Cumbria Health on Call (CHOC), through NHS 111, from 6:30pm to 8am on weekdays, from 6:30pm Friday to 8am Monday, and on bank holidays.
- Use NHS 111 online (age 5 and over) or call 111.
- Deaf or hard of hearing: use Relay UK, or NHS 111 BSL.
A nurse will assess you by phone. If you need to be seen, you'll usually be given an appointment at the CHOC centre at Furness General Hospital; occasionally a doctor will visit. Please use the out-of-hours service only if you can't wait until we reopen.
